Did you know that the internet is the largest Information System in the world?
Information Systems

In terms of a university major, Information Systems can be viewed as the meeting point between business and computer studies. Information Systems deals with the application of computer technology to business and society. It looks at how and why information technology such as programming, is used in business.

You will learn how to design, create and develop databases and internet applications, which are a major part of many modern organisations. Your main learning focus will be on understanding how different software products can be used to answer business organisation issues.

Information Systems is a profession that is constantly changing, as new technological developments are made daily. This means companies are on the constant look out for innovative young minds, which can bring fresh perspectives to their businesses.

With a global shortage of skilled people in this industry, prospects for graduates are bright. If you are someone that gets bored of doing the same thing every day, then studying Information Systems could very well be for you.
