Do you see dollar signs when you sleep? Interested in markets and valuation? Then this may be the path for you.
Finance

Finance

In three key words, Finance is money, markets and valuation. Finance is not to be confused with accounting or economics. Where accounting is looking at past performance, Finance is forward thinking and looks at the relationships between investor expectations about the future and current market values. Where economics focuses on resource allocation, Finance is more narrowly concerned with how markets value risk and the implications for investment and wider shareholder growth. Finance is both an art, product development and science.

Econometrics

Relatedly, certain tertiary institutions also offer courses in Econometrics. Econometrics is the application of Mathematics, particularly Statistics, to economic data. The aim is to help us describe economic phenomena. It helps us to make accurate economic forecasts by testing predictions.
