Culinary Arts courses at tertiary level relate to the professional cookery aspect of the hospitality industry. Generally speaking, you will lean the basic skills you will need to begin your career as a chef, or commercial caterer. In addition, you will be introduced to issues that you are likely to encounter in the workplace – e.g., kitchen safety procedures, customer care and how to plan and manage your time.
