Te Piringa - Faculty of Law Secondary Schools Mooting Competition Scholarship

The Te Piringa - Faculty of Law at the University of Waikato offers secondary students interested in Law the opportunity to participate in a Mooting Competition. The final moot and presentation of the trophy will take place in he Hamilton High Court before the Judiciary, members of the legal profession, school principals, senior teachers, fellow mooters and friends and family. 

The Scholarship decision will be made based on the outcome of the competition. In order to be eligible for an award, the candidate must be eligible for admission at the University of Waikato and enroll full-time in the year after the competition. The scholarship is valued at up to $3,000 and can be applied to either tuition fees, or to accommodation charges at the University’s hall of residence in the first year of study.
