Sir John Logan Campbell Agricultural Scholarship

Sir John Logan Campbell was a successful Auckland businessman who lived from 1817 to 1912. This scholarship was established to help form an Agricultural School in Palmerston North and to encourage first year students from urban areas such as Auckland to take a course in Agriculture.
The scholarship shall have a value determined each year from the interest earned on the capital gifted by Sir John Logan Campbell in his endowment in 1925 and be open to first year Massey University students who are enrolled full-time for the Bachelor of AgriCommerce degree, or the Agriculture major within either the Bachelor of AgriScience degree of the Bachelor of Science degree.
Successful candidates will be selected based academic merit, although preference will be given to those with an urban background who intend to pursue a career within the agriculture industry.
