S.S Obery Farm Cadet Bursary

The S.S. Obery Farm Cadet Bursary was established in 1990 by a bequest from Glenice Costello Obery. The award was established in memory of her husband, Sidney Stewart Obery, formally Provincial Secretary of the North Canterbury Provincial District of Federated Farmers of New Zealand.
The award is open to applications from students who are enrolled or intending to enrol in the Diploma in Farm Management at Lincoln University.
In addition, applicants must normally reside in the Canterbury Province between Rakaia and Conway Rivers and have completed their farm cadets under the supervision of the North Canterbury Farm Education and Training Association.
