Pears-Britten Scholarship in Singing

Value: $1,200

Tenure: One year

The Pears-Britten Scholarship in Singing was established with the proceeds created out of a concert given by world famous artists - Mr. Benjamin Britten and Mr. Peter Pears. 

The scholarship aims to support a student who has been selected to study for a full-time course at the University of Auckland's School of Music.

In order to apply, students must meet the following criteria:

  • has been selected for a full-time performance course in the School of Music, The University of Auckland, for which the subject of performance is singing;
  • or 

is pursuing a full-time course in the School of Music, The University of Auckland, for which the subject of performance is singing.

The scholarship is tenured for one year, with one scholarship awarded per year.
