The Health Research Council of New Zealand has one Ethics Summer Studentship available for a University of Waikato student to help conduct research during the summer break in a health-related ethics field.

The successful student's supervisor is likely to have a background in health-related ethics and some training in research methodology and report writing should be involved prior to the commencement of the Studentship. In addition, the candidate will be encouraged to present the research results at a seminar and/or by publication.

Ideally, applicants will have already completed a Bachelors degree and have some understanding of research practice.

The Studentship will be paid in two installments of $2,500. One near the beginning of the Studentship and the other after the research has been completed.
