George Turner Wilson Music Trust Scholarships

These Scholarships were established in 1991, in memory of George Turner Wilson.

To assist students in the development of their musical talent and education at the School of Music, University of Auckland.

The Scholarships shall be open to students aged between 15 and 19 years (both inclusive) at the time of examination, who

  • intend to enrol full-time at the School of Music; and
  • have been accepted into the Single Study Scheme for study with an approved member of the staff of the School of Music:

An exceptional circumstances an application from a candidate below the age of 15 years (who satisfies those two conditions) may be considered.

Note: Secondary School students who are not participating in the Single Study Scheme at The University of Auckland School of Music may apply for the George Turner Wilson Music Trust Awards for Secondary School Students (administered through the Senior Music Adviser for Schools).
