The Canterbury Architects' Scholarship was established in 2002 from funds contributed by Canterbury Architects to assist students from Canterbury attending The University of Auckland to undertake an undergraduate degree at the School of Architecture.

To assist students resident within the region of the Canterbury Branch of the New Zealand Institute of Architects, who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and enrolled for their first year of study for an undergraduate degree in the School of Architecture at The University of Auckland.

The Scholarship shall be offered to students resident within the region of the Canterbury Branch of the New Zealand Institute of Architects, who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and enrolled for their first year of study for an undergraduate degree in the School of Architecture at The University of Auckland.

The selection criteria will include academic merit, potential to achieve and commitment to architecture.
