Anne Shannon Scholarship

The Anne Shannon Scholarship was established in 2000 through an endowment by Dr and Mrs Shannon of Hamilton.
The purpose of the award is to provide financial assistance to an undergraduate student who is studying in the field of Biological Sciences at the University of Waikato.
In order to be eligible to apply, applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents majoring in Biological Sciences or in a specified programme including a major in Biological Sciences.
In addition, they must be enrolled in no less than three papers in Biological Sciences in each year of tenure (two years).
A scholarship is awarded every second year.
