Māori applicants have 50% of their tuition fees paid for them on a AIS diploma or degree programme, including MBA.

AIS is delighted to announce the funding of 20 scholarships for applicants of Māori descent, for full-time studies towards diploma and degree qualifications at AIS.
In launching the grants AIS President Dr Richard Goodall said “There is a real need for better higher learning outcomes in the Māori community, and our commitment will contribute to the Government’s objectives of enabling Māori school leavers and young adults to achieve higher qualifications relevant to the economic development needs of their communities in Auckland and nearby regions”.
The scholarships are valued at 50% off tuition fees, and are worth from $1,850 each for undergraduate diplomas, graduate diplomas and bachelor degree programmes in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, International Business and Information Technology, and as much as $9,787.50 for postgraduate programmes in Business Administration, including MBA.
The scholarships will be offered in 2014, and will continue for the second and third years of study in Level 6 Diploma and bachelor degree programmes, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
