Restaurant managers are in charge of running restaurants. The restaurant manager is effectively the face of the restaurant for clients and suppliers. Therefore, it is their responsibility to deal with complaints, customer service and maintenance issues. They also conduct inventories of supplies, calculate the next food order and place those orders accordingly. They also deal with the hiring, firing and promotion of kitchen staff and servers, make sure that the restaurant has enough staff rostered on at the correct times, and schedule breaks and holidays for staff.
