Neurophysiology Technologist

Neurophysiology technologists administer neurologic tests and record electrical activity produced by the brain, nerves and muscles to help diagnose illnesses. They are also responsible for conducting tests to make sure that all the equipment used for testing is in good working condition.

Neurophysiology technologist jobs are highly specialised and people working in these roles must have a university degree in a relevant area, such as a Bachelor of Health Sciences. You must also be detail-oriented and able to understand and interpret data received during testing. Because you will frequently interact with patients, their families, nurses, doctors and other medical staff members, you must also have clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily.
