Managing Director

Managing directors organise and take responsibility for the effective operation of an organisation. In some cases the term ‘managing director’ refers to the head of a company, and in other cases managing directors work as the heads of the individual business units within a company. Not surprisingly, the role of a managing director varies. However, expect to be responsible for managing teams of employees and coordinating employees’ efforts to ensure that organisational goals are met. Managing directors also often liaise with shareholders and the general public, reporting on the progress of certain projects.
