Health Services Manager

Health services managers are responsible for the day-to-day running of a hospital, primary health organisation (PHO), or community health service provider.

A health services manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and supervising the delivery of health care services. Some choose to specialise in a particular area, such as surgery or cardiology, and are involved in the decision-making regarding patient care. Others are more interested in the business end of operations.
