Corporate advisory lawyers specialise in offering advice and legal assistance on a number of different business matters. Thus, the role of a corporate advisor varies. Corporate advisors typically oversee a client on a particular matter to ensure that their client’s actions are legal. However, they may also pursue lawsuits and litigation for clients.

Corporate advisors can find employment in a number of different areas. For example, they may work on a freelance basis, or have a permanent job working for a law firm, or act as counsellor to a company or government office.
