Competition Lawyer

Competition law deals with the different laws that regulate market competition. There are three main elements in most competition law systems. The first prohibits any practice that restricts competition between businesses and negatively affects free trade. The second element aims to help prevent a company from forming a monopoly and to regulate a dominant business from abusing their position. The third aspect of competition law is the supervision of mergers and acquisitions, especially those that involve large companies. Through competition law, a merger or acquisition that may threaten a competitive market can be prevented.
