At-Sea Seafood Processor

At-sea seafood processors prepare seafood and seafood products for sale while working on high-seas fishing vessels. This includes skinning, filleting, trimming and packing seafood. Once seafood has been caught, it needs to be processed in preparation for sale. It depends on the employer and catch as to what the role entails. For example seafood processors may prepare whole fish, or fillet fish to be sold on the market.
